A Diverse Professional Journey
Before founding Bespoke Technology Group, Ben’s professional journey was marked by diverse and enriching experiences. With an English major as his academic foundation, Ben began his career as an IT/Marketing Project Manager at Janus Funds. He then transitioned to the role of IT Security Analyst at DCP Midstream, where he honed his skills in cybersecurity. Ben’s expertise further expanded as he took on the role of IT Account Manager/Engineer at Platte River Networks. These varied roles equipped Ben with a unique blend of skills and insights, ultimately leading him to start his Managed IT Services Provider, Bespoke Technology Group.
Leading with Vision and Passion
As the founder and principal of Bespoke Technology Group, Ben wears many hats. His primary role involves getting to know clients and solving their problems through innovative technology solutions. Ben is passionate about implementing new technologies and developing a company culture that empowers employees to thrive and achieve their goals. His leadership style is characterized by a deep commitment to both client satisfaction and employee development.
Childhood Dreams and Personal Interests
Interestingly, Ben’s childhood dream was to become a writer. This creative aspiration has undoubtedly influenced his approach to problem-solving and innovation in the tech industry. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending quality time with his daughter and indulge in a variety of hobbies. He is a self-proclaimed music nerd, an avid reader, and enjoys skiing, movies, board games, and tennis. Ben is also a foodie who loves exploring new culinary experiences.
Admiration and Inspiration
When asked about the person he admires most, Ben speaks fondly of his grandfather. Describing him as the best person he has ever known, Ben aspires to embody his grandfather’s kindness and thoughtfulness in both his personal and professional life.
Unique Life Experiences
Ben’s life has been filled with unique and memorable experiences. From winning the cakewalk every year in elementary school to surviving a 15-foot fall that could have been fatal, Ben’s resilience and determination are evident. He has also had the opportunity to provide personal IT security for a billionaire and even won a breakdancing competition.
Favorite Things
Ben’s favorite superhero is John Constantine, a character known for his wit and resourcefulness. When it comes to books, Ben finds it impossible to choose just one favorite, but he mentions “Still Life with Woodpecker” and “Another Roadside Attraction” by Tom Robbins, as well as “The Great and Secret Show” by Clive Barker. His favorite movie is “Mulholland Dr.,” and he loves visiting Thailand. For binge-worthy television series, Ben recommends “Twin Peaks.”
